“Thank you. Since we decided a few weeks ago to adopt the leaf as legal tender, we have, of course, all become immensely rich.”
Ford stared in disbelief at the crowd who were murmuring appreciatively at this and greedily fingering the wads of leaves with which their track suits were stuffed.
“But we have also,” continued the management consultant, “run into a small inflation problem on account of the high level of leaf availability, which means that, I gather, the current going rate has something like three deciduous forests buying one ship’s peanut."
Murmurs of alarm came from the crowd. The management consultant waved them down. “So in order to obviate this problem,” he continued, “and effectively revalue the leaf, we are about to embark on a massive defoliation campaign, and. . .er, burn down all the forests. I think you'll all agree that's a sensible move under the circumstances."
The crowd seemed a little uncertain about this for a second or two until someone pointed out how much this would increase the value of the leaves in their pockets whereupon they let out whoops of delight and gave the management consultant a standing ovation. The accountants among them looked forward to a profitable autumn aloft and it got an appreciative round from the crowd.”

Having twice as many people is a problem. The training system would have to be able to handle twice as many people. Cutting service in half doesn't work quite right either. If training takes 3 months 2 years of service gives you a productive soldier for 21 months but one year only gives you 9 months. Even if you double it to represent the personnel increase you get only 18 months of productive service. You end up with less productive, more expensive people who gain less experience.
It doesn't get better if you keep everything else the same and double the number of people. Payroll costs double and you need to maintain twice as much equipment, housing, supplies, etc.
There are already non-EU members that are members and participants in Schengen.
I can't seem to find The National Chicken Council’s 2024 Wing Report to view how they counted a wing. The wing of a chicken consists of 2 muscle groups which are usually divided and sold as 'wings.' Each chicken would (usually) have 4 such wings; meaning it's only 362.5 million chickens. Even if they're counting whole wings it's only 725 million chickens. 4 billion does seem to be an exaggeration.
But you'll have to pronounce it as Aariwona

Run for VP with crony as pres. crony resigns. Wasn't elected as President. Loophole!
They can create an overflow path with a splitter and priority output. Priority path goes to the crusher and chunks on the other path get tossed.
It's four, I think. Here's my stab at explaining this: in order to color it with only three colors any places with more than 2 neighbors who form a connected circle around the main region must have an even number of neighbors. There are a some places with odd numbers, ex: essen, rur ; london, london; dikirnis, misr as-suflaha all have 5 neighbors surrounding them. Because the neighbors also border each other they have to alternate colors around the main region. With an even number of neighbors they alternate fine; but with an odd number you'd end up with the first and last colored region being next to each other and matching - so you need 4 colors.
This seems like a practicality thing. As did Dare Devil, Toph moves in very precise, high speed ways; as if they weren't blind at all. Teaching the actor their moves and keeping those motions safe at speed is just easier with a sighted actor.
