Yoku's Island Express. The idea of a metroidvania where the entire map is a giant pinball board is beyond genius.

I'm slowly weening myself off, but the main problem is that Reddit has a massive backlog information that's still useful to reference. Almost any question you search online comes back with a reddit thread.

Lemmy and the fediverse has a ton of potential, but we're really lacking in terms of content parity. Hell, even just communities vs subreddits.

There was no Kill La Kill community yet on Lemmy, so I figured I might as well make one.

Just going to hold over the rules from the subreddit to start, and we'll go from there an adjust as needed!

All posts and submissions must directly relate to Kill La Kill. Any post not directly related to Kill La Kill will be removed.

No outright porn or nudity (going by the most strict definition of exposed genitalia here).

All promotion of unlicensed electronic stores is not allowed.

Links to torrents, direct download links, and unofficial streaming links of episodes are not allowed.

Don't lose your wayyyyy!

Hey all,

There wasn't a lemmy community for NYCFC yet, so I figured I'd make one. Ultimately, just wanted to make this post so the page isn't completely empty, but if you would like to join our Discord server (originally purposed for the subreddit) you can find it here: https://discord.gg/ccCxE96cKY

Rules for this community to start will also mirror those of the subreddit, and we'll make announcements and adjust as needed:

  1. The Golden Rule

The golden rule is don't be a dick (see also reddiquette). The community is still fairly small at the time of writing, and it's rare that we're forced to take action against any user. If you're not being a dick you'll typically find us quite welcoming.

  1. Spam

We will remove spam* and may issue bans when it becomes problematic.

To help combat spam, accounts less than 24 hours old will not be able to post links, self posts or comments. We do review the mod queue, and if we see your posts have been removed but are not spam, we'll approve them manually.

We define spam as posts or comments that serve only as promotion. We welcome meaningful content from a variety of sources, but promotion without meaningful content is not welcome.
  1. Instigation

Non-NYCFC fans are welcome, however we do not allow top-level submissions that exist only as anti-NYCFC rhetoric with the goal of starting an argument. Feel free to start negative discussions if you are genuinely looking for a discussion, but don't make top-level posts that are nothing more than insults (not even if it's intended as banter - if you're extraordinarily witty, we may allow it, but don't count on it).

  1. Banter

Banter and digs are welcome in the comments, but we don't want outright abuse (if you have a different view of what constitutes abusive behavior than the mods, then we'll go with the mod's definition), and don't be too persistent - persistent minor digs eventually adds up to you being dick.

  1. Staying on-topic/Low-Effort Posts

Anything off topic will be removed. Anything wildly off-topic will be removed and may result in a ban.

In the same vein, we ask that self-posts contain at least some effort in beginning a discussion. Posts lacking substance will more than likely be removed. Think about whether or not what you have to say is worth an entire subject before posting, or if it belongs in either our Free-Talk Friday thread or in a pre- or post-match discussion.

  1. Bots

Unhelpful bots will be banned.

  1. Giving Respect to Get Respect

Please DO NOT proceed to opposing team subreddits just to troll. Banter is one thing, schadenfreude is fine as long as it's kept here. Team subreddits exist specifically to avoid such things, so please keep in mind that we do not tolerate that behavior here.

  1. Paywalled Content

Feel free to share:

Links to the official page for paywalled content (e.g. a link to an article from ESPN Insider or The Athletic)

Principle quotes from the article within reason

DO NOT:

Provide access to content behind a paywall in any way, including re-hosting content on other sites or posting content in text posts/comments

Request others provide you access to paywalled content

Share links to game streams

Cheers all and COYBIB!
