@Rangelus we are now in post truth. It doesn't matter that the policy cannot be implemented. What's important to National is how the policy makes you feel.

@Rangelus @Dave exactly my thoughts. Announce something nice that doesn't happen with so something unpopular that will.

Privatising electricity was unpopular until Key said all the money will be spent on public infrastructure and water projects. The dams never happened at scale and were never going to.

@Ilovethebomb I see it as a crap sandwich, you put the gst (actually happening but unpopular) in-between two slices of vague but popular things that never actually evenuate.

@eagleeyedtiger @Ilovethebomb my money's on GST rise. Also possible, that they announce but never implement a Microsoft tax and a proceeds of crime scheme.

@Ilovethebomb is this work or hobby? I've often looked at project boats and wondered if it's worth the effort.
