Having just restained our own deck, this is really impressive!

If you're anywhere here in Ohio, today's the day to make sure you vote on Issue 1. If you need to know where your polling location is, check your county board of elections website. Remember to check in with your friends to make sure they're voting as well! Vote No on Issue 1, let's protect the power of our vote!

An Ohio Republican is seeking to stop funding to cities that use ranked-choice voting, which makes it easier for minorities to get elected

I actually just worked some mosquito bits into my soil this week! Very hopeful to see how it helps

I do have those little water dishes. I'll check those out to see if I've got any standing water. Thank you!

I knew about sand but not bottom watering! Thank you for the info!

Oh this sounds like a lot of fun. I'll have to look into these!

I'll definitely give this a try, thank you! It's incredible how many there are

Good to know! I was really hoping someone out here would have first-hand (leaf?) experience. Thank you!

I hear @queer.party on Mastodon is pretty well populated?

I've got several small houseplants in my home office, and I really like having them around. I'm still pretty new to taking care of them altogether, though, and we've gotten dozens of tiny house gnats now. I've put up sticky traps and tried to use some pest control in the potted soil. But would a small venus fly trap be able to help here?

The flowers don't seem to last long but they're very cute! That plant looks so happy!

That's a big help, thank you! I spent some time on it today and I think I figured out what's actually leaking, but this kit should make it easier to just repair it

Trying to fix a slow leak in a toilet, likely, but the main project is patching a gap in the ceiling where a vent fan doesn't quite fit

I'm really looking forward to this! I was also let down by Stray, more because I didn't want to end up playing a stealth game, I just wanted to wander around as a cat

I've finally gotten around to playing this very cozy, solo journaling game and I'm having a great time doing exploring summer activities and watching little moments unfold for my witch. In my past couple entries, he got a bunch of tiny sprites to help with a community cleanup, saw a magic fish at a music festival and learned how to make charm rings. I'm curious what adventures others are getting up to?
