Section 1

What is streaming? To understand what streaming is, first we have to explain how the Internet works.

The Internet...

The Universe...

Goddamn it just gimme the fucking information already!

Same.

Not to mention that the 0-100 range thingy really depends on local conditions. I mean, depending on where you live, there are parts of the scale you'll never use.

I've never in my entire life lived in a place where the lowest temp got anything close to 0°F.

My range of values is more -5°C - 45°C, or 23F - 113F.

23F for me is already fucking cold, and 100F is nowhere near fucking hot anymore (thank the entire humanity for climate change).

So whichever scale, for me they're still just a bunch of numbers. But at least Celsius is used in "science, bitch!"

Free returns with Prime? I hope so

I love Firefox and it's my main browser on laptop and mobile.

But as a KDE user, seriously, fuck it. It's a mess.

Antisemitic != Anti Zionist

I don't. I love Pixels and like many of their cloud services, although I'm pissed at them for killing some of them (the usual list, you know: Inbox, greader, play music).

And although I'm a big advocate for FOSS, I can't see myself giving up the camera prowess by switching to something like Graphene, for example.

But I'm well aware that I'm sharing plenty of data with them (some of which I find useful, like location history allowing me to go back in time), and that they can disable my account anytime. That's why I've started doing regular Takeouts of data, and backing them up on a separate hosting provider. My Google Drive holds ALL my documents and files, so on top of keeping a local copy on my drive, I also incrementally backup the entire folder on a separate host provider everyday.

My 16GB XPS running Linux almost fills up entirely when running several docker containers, IDEA, Firefox, Teams, Postman and a few other, smaller apps, but it fits still, and I can work with it (tho I can't wait to get my 32GB framework laptop)

Now gimme a 8GB MBP and I'll show you that I wouldn't get shit done on that configuration. And at 1600 it's just crazy.

But also kinda amazing!

I don't wanna repeat myself, but: 7840u for the next few years, then I hope RISC V will be mature enough to kick some ass (and that framework releases a board for it).

That's all I dream of.

Forse kdiff?

Something like this:

This is from an actual Lancia production car from the 90s (the Dedra with a optoelectronics dash).

But also kinda amazing

As per title, what if one wants to have a paid subscription to the likes of Spotify etc, but also the MP3/FLAV version of those tracks? What's the easiest way?

I know about lidarr but the fact it's album-centric is a bit of a PITA if all you care for are individual tracks of an album.

Also, which are some good Android apps to stream/download your home server collection of MP3s/FLACs?

Thanks!

Come da titolo, vorrei dare una mano a questa istanza offrendo un paio di birre ghiacciate ai server accaldati in queste calde giornate estive.

Come posso fare?

Grazie! 😍

Speravo bastasse fosse rilasciato DALL'Italia. Alla fine è quello che conta, no?

Volevo solo condividerlo. Per fortuna ho già un altro conto principale (BBVA) ma avrei gradito averne un secondo (già solo in caso di problemi con la carta, e in più non ho gli assegni con BBVA :( )
