Not living in Canada anymore, but when I visit in June they won't get a cent from me.

The last 2 MW have been multi-gen releases, so one good thing you can say about COD is that the engine is well optimized. Given MW3 doesn't look much different than MW2 (not a criticism), I'm assuming a solid launch.

Controllers in general are also extremely accessible, and expandable for those that might struggle using a tradtional mouse and keyboard.

Just teach them Python and the rest will work itself out.

Is there any ranking of 'most pirated game' tracked by leechers accross to top indexes?

I remember FIFA being the first thing everyone pirated when I lived in the dorms in University.

I would guess also a lot of XBOX players download the game on gamepass, and then never open it - since the there isn't any achievement unlocked prior to the one you get for reaching space, I wonder if there is any other way to tell.

Does this type of mod break with updates, or could you potentially just stay on the version you downloaded and forego any updates? I don't mod much to the point where I've paid for any, but curious the requisite of ongoing subscription for this type of thing.

You'll be taxed 40% and you'll be happy about it.

I hope they continue to expand on the gore systems in the game. I know that doesn't keep a game fresh for 10s of hours, but I do appreciate how they lean into the carnage factor. Reminds me of Soldier Of Fortune 1+2 in the sense.

The downtown strip of the town I grew up in (about 2hrs from Toronto) is a ghost town. I doubt retailers want to risk starting a lease on a commercial property when in many situations, brick&mortar isn't much of an asset.

Probably doesn't need to be said at this point, but HL2 has such a timeless look that even the original graphics still look great to me.

Perhaps that makes it a great candidate for technology like this, as the underlying assets are fantastic.

I started a new DOS2 character while I was waiting for the full release of BG3, and it helped me remember how much I love CRPGs (it's the only one I've played aside from BG1 when I was a kid).

The narrator was something that really stuck with me, as you didn't always see detailed actions of your party and NPCs during dialogue, so you had to use your imagination based on the narration.

Having now started BG3 with it's fully cutscened conversations and interactions, it really feels like an evolution. They are so well captured and acted that it makes the game feel so much more engrossing.

In case you need any more help getting pumped throughout the day.
