Sorry, too busy. I need to optimize the ROI of that piece of dirt you are standing on so I can increase the value of my derivative trades before the second quarter stockholder meeting.

I learned from America's Test Kitchen to look at the ingredients. If the first ingredient is tomato paste or tomato concentrate, pass. If it is tomatoes, it will probably be fine. Although usually this means a more expensive jar, there are plenty of expensive/fancy looking jars that don't pass this test.

That said, Del Grosso's has a premium line with "Aunt Mary Anne's Marinara". It is our go-to and far and away the best I've tried.

Had a dermatologist appointment today. The receptionist asked me with a straight face if 2 PM on Tuesday in June of 2025 would work.

I have had good luck installing Gallium OS on a Chromebook for my daughter, so you might look at some of the Chromebook tablet/detachable keyboard options. Just make sure the model you get is supported.

Independence Day. That shot of the White House being obliterated was amazing at the time.

Yes, you will be safe from hurricanes while you are baked alive by global warming.

When I read this, I thought, "Is Lawrence Greenspoon the Canadian version of Alan Greenspan?"

This feels like "the ultra wealthy have already squeezed all the money they can out of the poor and lower middle class, so now they are starting to cannibalize the merely wealthy."

I know the wealthy don't see this directly, but if it keeps the machinery of government running so they can continue to benefit and they can mine it out through subsidies and backroom graft.

I am not saying that these millionaires shouldn't get targeted for not paying their taxes, but the IRS should start at the top and work their way down.

That is one of those right angle bolts for getting into tight places. Hang onto it because they cost about $15 each new. It is specially made to transfer the torque from the head around the 90 degree bend. Just line it up with the nut, slap a driver on there and go to town. I promise, it will be amazing and nothing bad will happen.

I used to live in Houston, and I always tell people it is a strip mall the size of Rhode Island.

Lutron makes the L3T251 which is a combination dimmer and timer for a bathroom fan and light combo in a single range switch.

It does not require a neutral wire because it pulls power from the light circuit, but as a result, I have to use an incandescent bulb in it. LED bulbs don't provide a low current resistive path for the parasitic power draw. I've tested this and if I put a known good LED bulb in, the switch is dead.

Now that incandescent bulbs have been banned, what are my options. If there's a similar product out there that uses a neutral and works with LED, I haven't found it. I imagine you could make a parallel high resistance circuit that would provide power to the switch when the light is off, but I have not found anything like that.

Any suggestions?
