It's called decentralized

Yeah that would be a good way to recreate the echo chamber we love in reddit

Cutting the entire world out when there are a few bad guys out there is a stretch. For one troll there are ten meaningfully discussions.

Because echo chamber is awesome. When you say something, no one will disagree with you.

Them wanting to be an echo chamber doesn't mean we should do that too

Just don't use their paid sync. Treat it as VsCode but solely for markdown files.

It means it's as wholesome 100 as reddit

Reddit is way too wholesome 100 if anything. Saying anything "bad" on major subreddits and you'll either get downvoted to hell or outright banned by powermods. Toxicity is an essential part of Internet forums.

There's also sort by hot, just like reddit.

What you want isn't a home page, because there is already a home page with a bunch of sorting options. What you want is an auto repost subreddit.

Fediverse is effectively just like Reddit actually, but without the admins, which is what cause 95% subreddits to blackout and protest.

Subreddits have drama all the time because of power tripping mods, but redditards can always create new subs.
