Yeah, if you’re in SLC, just give up on walking anywhere and take the Blue line, or the Green line. Every place you need to go to is a little too far to walk anyway.

So you just throw down on sunglasses as a meal, or how did this happen?

[-] [email protected] 4 points 5 months ago

That’s so true for so many people!

That’s weird. They weren’t on the ground, after you finished your climb?

Aw, you mean you don’t want to coat your gear in Cheeto dust and grease?

I wouldn’t be opposed to a device that blocked all social media, but was filled with educational, and age appropriate, apps for a child. I don’t think playing Math Blaster ruined my childhood. Super Mario Brothers didn’t give me any life skills, other than improving hand-eye coordination. Neither one ruined my life, though.

Should I say the word draft?

No one should ever be forced to skip a shower, especially not for a week. That’s so unsanitary.

Everyone should look at the greenhouse emissions from oil refineries and power plants before they really start taking things away from individuals. We all play a part in reducing global warming. Eating less meat and using less energy and natural resources can help, of course, but let’s address the big polluters of carbon dioxide and methane. The two biggest greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide and methane. California’s biggest polluter is some refinery in Los Angeles. Is eating less meat going to put an end to that? I would hope that Biden would have a more reasonable solution than what this guy is suggesting.

Wait until she hears the part about Jimmy Page dating that 14 year old fan girl. Yuck. I really like their music, but that was pretty bad.

Do they actually have enough housing to provide immediate housing to the homeless in Finland? If anyone spends the night on the street in Finland, during winter, they’ll die. How much of their homeless population dies waiting for that housing? I’m just curious. I’m not trying to be argumentative. If there is no wait time, I applaud them. America needs a housing solution for the homeless.

She forgot to mention the thousands of homeless that die on the street because they don’t have access to public services. If you think America is the only first world country with that problem, travel to places like Britain, Ireland, and Scotland. You can watch the homeless freeze to death in the winter, as they sleep on the street. Nothing will make you feel more guilty than walking through a big city, while it’s snowing, and watching some homeless person shivering on the side of an icy bridge, while everyone just walks on by them. There are no public bathrooms, no free cups of water at most eateries, no places to shower for free, and they’re just expected to freeze to death.
