Remember that the moment they feel they can they will try and fuck us again. Meanwhile pathfinder continues to be great and player friendly, never hired mercenaries to raid anyone etc. also better ruleset. Hard to care for dnd anymore. :(

With difficulty settings I think the karmic dice is kind of superfluous (assuming they fixed the maths for release).
This feels misleading at best.
Someone get Chris Finney (voice of Ifan / DOS2) on the phone!
A combat improvement patch would be nice but I’m okay with having a combat system that’s not 100% to my taste rather than delay the game further.
Mods on Linux should work just as well as on Mac and windows. Larian does a really good job there. I imagine it’ll be pretty close to how it is on dos2, just drop the pak files inside a mods folder and they show up in the mods menu where you can toggle and reorder. On EA it’s petty much that minus the UI, so you have to edit the xml file by hand or use the mod manager (windows). Understandable considering it’s EA.
I have but their other games were on their own system. Bg3 is supposedly on 5e, a system that has already plenty of balancing issues without homebrew. Things like bonus action shove makes the sleep spell a waste, on top of being absurdly over powered that you can just shove a boss down a cliff line it’s made of paper.
All in all probably a small issue that shouldn’t detract too much from what looks like an amazing game with a ton of role play freedom but I for one am looking forward to combat mods. They got some of that on early access and it made a big difference.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never been this excited for a game before. Everything looks incredible but I’m also excited for the rebalancing mods and knowing how Larian is, excited for the “definitive edition” release that incorporates the best of the mod community like they did with original sin.
Anyone else kind of down on the extra actions, the extra weapon actions, the lightning / momentum, etc? Also bonus disengage / shove that can kill a boss…
Yeah being a hostile work environment, not great and sadly too common. But let’s not put that on the same level as wotc hiring a mercenary company to raid someone’s home. :/
