Windows 8 is actually great. It's the last efficient OS from Microsoft. I mean, you can actually be surfing on the internet and have 4 GBs of RAM and you're actually having a good time? By good I mean like 2.5 GB used with the browser open.

Well apparently you could before windows 10, or there's something wrong with my laptop but it's always chuggin along after boot at like 3.25 Gb used easy.

Maybe it's because all the fancy x86 emulation it does is actually pretty RAM hungry too. Oh well.

(It's a Samsung Galaxy book go. They're dirt cheap! And I actually quite like it, it's been my main computer for a few years now actually. )

Nowadays you have tank printers. They're more expensive upfront but the ink is much cheaper. It's even cheaper if you go for aftermarket ink. I have an Epson and it's great. Don't think I'll go with the cheap ink however, I just don't use it that much to justify the savings

Yeah. The DIVX discs mentioned here need a special player

That's pretty much how it works on iOS too as far as I can tell. Nothing boots up until you enter your pin

You are probably referring to FlexPlay, a completely different implementation of the same basic idea.

Yes, but I suspect that GB emulation has been perfect for a decade or 2 lol

Nah. Mac OS and iOS shares a lot of code and principles, but they're very different

I am outraged about this. Went to my local Maxi to pick up eggs (they were half price than others) and I saw this on top of something else. I get them from costco anyways, but this kind of shrinkflation is really annoying. Other soft drinks are probably going to get the same treatment
