I don't know the details of the user's difficulties, but from a generic viewpoint, 2FA is not mandatory, so you can ignore it if you want. No need to disable it, unless I've missed a point here.

btw, for those who want to enable it, you got plenty of apps :

  • pass-otp, plugin of password-store, on linux (probably bsd also, I've not checked) : their github repo is interesting if you want to understand the idea
  • aegis for android phones

I tried them on another instance, no issue.

512 m ram dunno, but I had an old 10 yo+ dual core / 4 gb ram laptop on arch working well, except for gaming. Just replaced it with ghostbsd, also fluid.

thanks everyone for our ideas, in the past i've used dolphin (kde) with mtp support to search files, it works but you obviously need a linux box.

sometimes, an app stores its images/files under a ton of directories, do you know a good android file manager that can quickly search it ?
