Told a friend how I was feeling and had a similar bill. $2500 with insurance. Probably won’t be talking about my feelings again unfortunately

With the addition of ads for paying users, is there anything subscribers can do to protest? I hate ads with a passion.

Maybe separate all shipping items to cost them more? I’m not seeing many options other than cancellation

Everyone knows this isn’t suicide but they are so brazen because there are no consequences. What do we need to do so that there are?

This is insane that it’s even being considered. If they rule presidents have absolute immunity then Joe Biden could just throw Trump in jail and not have to answer for it, which I would not want any president to have the power to do

SCOTUS has no more legitimacy. Full stop. They are declaring the constitution unconstitutional. The 14th amendment exists for a reason. A jury found Trump liable for insurrection. They are upending a jury's decision as well as violating a constitutional provision

There are laws in place for service workers related to minimum wage. The employers have to make up the difference if tips don’t meet the rate for hours worked. It seems to me that’s not sufficient for the times.

Hypothetically, if everyone were to stop tipping in the U.S. would things be better or worse for workers? Would employers start paying workers more?

Now will there be any sort of accountability? PII is pretty regulated in some places

Just like you can refinance a mortgage (add/remove people, change interest rates and monthly payment, and whatnot), you can update your prenup. Situations change. They are technically called postnups but are the same thing

The party is overall shitty I agree with that. I also don’t think people should be able to own more than one home just to get rental income and have someone else pay their mortgage. This depletes the housing supply and takes away wealth building opportunities for families trying to build their own wealth.

That being said, this could have been handled better. If tenants could pause rent then the banks should have paused payments on mortgages that qualify as well, or just all mortgages.

I believe the answer is yes. Most vegans are vegans because they don’t want to exploit or harm any other creature. Picking your own nose implies that you consent to that activity and are not being exploited

Multiple justices lying under oath somehow doesn’t disqualify them. Ridiculous

If you buy the hardware you should be able to turn it on. Jail breaking is fully moral in that situation.

The self driving is software that uses the hardware so should be paid for IMO. You should also be able to use your own software that’s open source on the hardware you own
