It's a balance between latency (altitude), launch weight (more satellite fuel), and number of satellites (coverage area). Would you rather have less satellites and less coverage or more satellites that have a lower lifespan?

I have no doubt now that NACS will be the standard going forward in NA instead of CCS1.

Pretty crazy than in less a month so many companies have announced adoption

Hopefully once Google and other stats get over 50% there will be a "look at the majority" effect. Most ISPs in my country already support IPv6 with a couple IPv6 only with NAT64 on the edge. But I guess we'll just have to see.
