It's really insane if you listen to Reagan talking about immigrants being the strength of the nation and keeping the USA young and growing. And how if we ever stop with immigration or would ruin the country.
I'm willing to be proven wrong but this ad is almost certainly fake. For one the logo used in the ad didn't exist? In the early 60s McDonald's did have red text but it wasn't off-center, when it was later off-center the text was white or black but not red. Maybe that's the joke and why it was created, but McDonald's was never this edgy. It was more commercials about mcnuggets being born to die or the weirdness of the hamburgler and grimace.
I hear what you're saying but do you really think young people watched the debate? Debates are really just for sound bites for ads and Harris got what she needed there. Most young people just ingest the debates via shorts on YouTube, TikTok, etc and it's easy to pull out the best stuff for those.
Trump's biggest problem is he is essentially at his ceiling of voters, about 46%.
The worst part is that Biden and the Dems don't have the balls to do anything like this or intentionally put this verdict to the test. Just clutch their pearls and not actually do anything.
What the hell were the thieves doing with the tools? They had 15,000 of them, were they going to open a Home Depot? Was this a crew of a few dozen people? How were they making money of they had 15,000 tools in like 12 storage units? Even if this was some shady eBay marketplace operation they must have been having serious trouble finding buyers for these tools or something.
Nikki Haley and others like her keep insisting that the 'real' GOP isn't based on Trump politics, when are they are going admit that it's the REAL GOP committing a murder/suicide on America. And the Dems are just the meme of the dog in the room on fire.
It's complete insanity that neither party is using this case against Trump during the primaries. Especially Haley, it's a gift wrapped opportunity for her to score points on Trump and she completely ignores it. Her campaign was a lost cause from the start but none of the Republican candidates have acted like they are even trying.
I live in the southern USA, evangelical folks in my area are fully onboard with Israel support. Facebook links constantly, sign boards in front of churches, those annoying free newspapers they publish and leave in the driveway.
It's all anti Muslim and some really creepy genocide talk.
It's so annoying to hear certain folks acting like all the problems in America come from this Thunderdome type situation at the boarder with Mexico. And never do they have any recommendation that doesn't involve hurting people or invading Mexico out other ridiculous things. Just the other day I heard someone talking about all the Chinese people coming across the Mexico boarder and how they were actually spies for China. Fifteen years ago they were Muslims and terrorists.
Maybe it's because I live in a rural area, but no guy I know seems interested/comfortable with any kind of emotionally deep relationship with another guy. Definitely not throwing shade there, I feel the same way and completely unprepared on how to speak with anyone other than my wife emotionally.
The more seemingly well adjusted guys are all family guys with kids, so they basically have no time to do anything that doesn't involve the kids.
The ones without kids and the guys that never married or divorced all got into solitary hobbies like hunting or fishing. I like to trail run, so it's basically the same with me. I feel like it's basically impossible to make friends with another guy and I do try to!
Something I talk to a therapist about but otherwise have little idea what to do with is the fact that I literally have no actual guy friends, just coworkers and a few old college buddies that live hours away, so we only get together about one a year. I feel like the article was pretty good and it is very interesting that a trans man was able to capture the feeling so well.
I would just settle for sidewalks, where I live in the USA it's just streets with no sidewalks everywhere. I used to live one mile from where I worked and I could barely even bike there because of crazy car drivers and nowhere to go if someone wasn't paying attention. Rural America is going to be car dependent for a long, long time.
So one of the cops shot the other cop in the torso? Talk about a well trained police force. It's like something out of Naked Gun. And clearly the cops being there clearly made the situation much worse and injured more people. These stooges should never carry a gun again.
I'm sure NYC will be on the hook for a few lawsuits out of this one situation alone that will at least get into the low millions! Great job NYPD for a subway fare!
