He ate theirs eyes so that he could see what they see.

Yes, I agree. I think the solution for these case is to crack down on illegally voting this way.

Like a katamari?

My wife just read to me a tweet (or whatever) where a husband was making his wife vote by mail so he could guarantee she voted for Trump.

I feel like he should be charged for voting twice. If she doesn't get to pick who to vote for, she's not voting, he is. Send him to jail for 15 years (or for whatever they sent that woman who cast the provisional ballot because she was told she could and then she wasn't eligible to vote in the end).

The Holy Trinity includes God who is supposedly all powerful. I think He can hold His own 1v1. I'm not saying He would thrash every Hindu god, but it's not a trouncing of God situation, either. Regardless, when you start adding in the entire kingdom of Heaven, even against the entire pantheon of Hindu gods, I think Heaven wins out.

For his human form, yes, but Holy Trinity-wise, I'm not so sure. Beyond 1v1, archangels tip any scales in JC's favor.

In the game Taskmaker, one of the things I always try to do as soon as possible is acquire a vapor ring (allows you to walk through nearly any wall/tile). Facing a bad guy who is too strong? Become ethereal and walk into the middle of a wall, rest up, and return until he's beaten (or you run out of food or get bored).

Not to mention all the looting potential.

When I originally played the game, it was a demo that didn't include most of the locations. It did include a range of items. So, I knew this trick before I got the full game. I had practically become the taskmaker before I had the full game.

I think that's the real crux of it. Most people don't know. There may have been a bump in literacy, but most people don't know, don't care, and don't need to. If we had better education, this kind of thing could be a core class. I had computer classes, but they mainly focused on typing and specific programs. Basically nothing about components, the command prompt, programming, different OS, etc. Granted this was many years ago, but I live in Florida. So, it's probably worse.

Surprisingly, Florida has a higher minimum wage--nearly double that of the federal minimum, and will reach $15 in 2026. Of course, you can't survive on that working 40 hours a week.

This. I shut off all notifications from nearly all of my apps. Primary text app, phone app, and just a couple of others. I may temporarily allow them for a special purpose, but once that's over they all get silenced and I get to them when I get to them. I hate badge notifications, too. So, those are off for EVERYTHING. Grad school cemented that aversion.

She's so fat that we're worried her and the sun will form a binary star system.
