What are your thoughts on the Lemmy ecosystem?

I've been trying it out for the last week. I have my own opinions, but I'd like to hear others and see if we have common ideas on what is good/bad/indifferent about the Lemmy ecosystem.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of Trump's and Harris' policies on key issues:

  • Promote climate initiatives protecting vulnerable communities
  • Continue record-high U.S. oil and gas output

Healthcare

Trump:

  • Protect Medicare
  • No plans to repeal Affordable Care Act
  • Support taxpayer-funded fertility treatments

Harris:

  • Expand Affordable Care Act
  • Cap insulin costs at $35 monthly for all Americans
  • Implement $2,000 cap on out-of-pocket prescription costs
  • Strengthen Medicare and Social Security

Crime and Policing

Trump:

  • Pledge to dismantle drug cartels and combat gang violence
  • Support "law and order" policies
  • Reinvigorate police departments and protect officers from lawsuits

Harris:

  • Implement universal background checks for gun purchases
  • Expand red flag laws
  • Ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines
  • Reform qualified immunity for police officers

Education

Trump:

  • Support school choice initiatives
  • Expand federal support for religious schools

Harris:

  • Support free college for middle-class students at public institutions
  • Advocate for student debt forgiveness
  • Invest in community colleges and vocational training

Foreign Policy

Trump:

  • "America First" approach
  • Skepticism towards NATO and traditional alliances
  • Tough stance on China, including increased tariffs
