"Fuck you, got mine" is pretty much a cornerstone of their platform...

Parroted Hitler again.

Anti-Zionism is not antisemitic.

Lumping in all Jewish people with the genocidal apartheid ethnostate absolutely is.

Young people are people and deserving of rights, including but not limited to the vote. There is no stupid thing a young person could do with their vote that old people don't already do and we don't require them not to in order to keep their vote.

How about both of you go the fuck home and let an actual progressive do some actual good for once?

That awkward moment when the genocidal occupying force can't handle literal facts.

Serious Answer:

It doesn't "stand for" anything in that it's not an acronym or acrostic.

It's the name of Star Trek "tropical resort planet." People go on shore leave there in the way that people go on vacation to Bermuda or the Bahamas; it's kind of the default "iconic tropical paradise" location.

On one notable occasion, Captain Picard went on vacation there.

Before he left, Commander Riker asked him to pick him up a certain souvenir from there.

You see the wooden statue in the sidebar over there? --->

That thing. It has a name. I don't remember what it's called.

What Riker didn't tell him is that displaying one of those statues openly is basically Risan shorthand for "I'm cruising for casual sex." So Picard was just like "yeah, I finally got around to buying Will that ugly statue he wanted; can't be arsed to take it back to my room right now though." So he just kinda carried it around with him for the day, had it hanging out on the table next to him while he was reading and such. With predictably awkward/hilarious results.

So yeah. This community is named after a low-stress tropical tourist trap that was occasionally spiced up with adventure and trolling. The perfect place for Star Trek related memes and shitposts.

You know what I miss?

Written walkthroughs for games.

No I will not watch your fucking video.
No I will NOT watch your fucking video.
NO I WILL NOT WATCH YOUR FUCKING VIDEO.

Written instructions that I can search in and not have to fuck around with timestamps to find the part I need, then rewind it, then rewind it again, then... oh look it's your stupid sponsorship read, because I give approximately negative-one fucks about Raid Shadow Legends or goddamn Squarespace (which you could've used to post written fucking walkthroughs, but here we are).

I don't make coffee super often... because I'm an absolute heretic and drink Java Monster or Cafe Mocha Soylent and occasionally hate myself... but when I do I want a good cup, something not too bitter or burnt-tasting but with a good flavor.

So I'm looking for something that is... y'know, fancier than Folgers but not exactly Kopi Luak either.

My current go-to is Lavazza Intenso. I just got an aeropress (thanks to all the folks on here who recommended it) and I have a hand burr grinder ... somewhere...

So. What should I be trying, assuming I want tasty coffee that isn't priced like it's made of gold?

Honestly, one thing I hate about being biologically male is that men's clothes all look so goddamn generic.

Oh, you're wearing a suit. It's. A suit. I guess. They all look the same.

You're wearing jeans. And a t-shirt. And they all look basically the same.

Khakis and a polo? You madlad. Well, you and everybody else at the country club. Who all look exactly the fucking same.

The thing that really gets me is, it didn't used to be this way. You look at pictures of people in paintings and whatnot and men had some wild shit going on. There was variety, if somewhat less, even into the early 20th. But... seriously tell me if I'm wrong here... it feels like we got to WWII and men's fashion just stopped. Like an entire generation of men put on uniforms and eighty years later we still haven't completely taken them off.
