People don’t drive motorbikes in the West because they are absurdly expensive, and because car-brained morons make them extremely dangerous to drive. There are actually countries where majority of people drive motorbikes (eg Vietnam), and given bikes are much more fuel efficient, less dangerous to pedestrians, take up less space etc., it would honestly make a lot of sense for Western govt.’s to encourage people to drive them alongside encouraging cycling instead of cars (not Harleys obviously but scooter type bikes), although it will never happen due to car brain. But I think plenty of people would be willing to take them up if (as another poster has suggested) China for example started mass producing cheap bikes for the Western market.

I’ve always wondered why neither the USSR nor the West ever seriously attempted to assassinate Hitler. From the USSR perspective they may have understandably been concerned about the other Allies deciding they preferred a military-led Germany to the Soviet Union. I was taught that the UK/US never tried it because they thought Hitler was a strategic liability to the Germans, although honestly that doesn’t sound very plausible to me

I think the legacy of neoliberalism will be a major problem for leftists going forward. We know the West is going to crash hard, certainly outside the US and probably within the US as well. At least half the population think that left-wing politics = neoliberal politics. They have fucked us on immigration in particular. So much of the working class opposes immigration because it has been used by neoliberals specifically to undercut wages. You can tell people it’s the economic system but the idea that everything bad is because of immigration is becoming really ingrained. If the US or any Western country were to collapse it would be fascism that is primed to exploit that, not Marxism or any other left politics.

Everyone has always noted about Trump that if he was smart enough (or allowed?) to outflank the Dems on left issues that were overwhelmingly popular (and a generally anti-war stance would be one) that he could dominate US politics. I mean this is the strategy of European fascists like Le Pen too - outflank the neoliberal centrists on populist issues

How do we get this information across the Chinese border?

It’s literally unplayable now on console it’s so slow. Like they are basically just scamming people by still selling it

lmao they still fucking hate Millenials so much. I wonder if it’s some kind of unconscious guilt thing. I mean Millenials have been basically the most inoffensive generation ever, all they’ve tried to do is advocate for milquetoast socialism and the idea that things should just be a bit nicer for everyone and they have got unrelenting hate for it from day one

They are based in Afghanistan right? Probably a gladio style ‘stay behind’ group imo. Definitely could’ve been encouraged to attack Russia. But Putin has said the attack was Ukranian. They have the terrorists in custody so hopefully some kind of evidence can be produced either way

The easiest way would be through teaching English, but you can look at other career paths too. Many countries require a university degree and a clean criminal record for work permits, not sure about China specifically though. In some cases it can be worked around anyway. Look into work that ‘expats’ do in China and then see what the career paths are and which ones might be achievable for you

My feeling is that Casalaro got played by fantasists. The inescapable nature of ‘the octopus’ conspiracy is that its extremely undercooked in terms of evidence. Casalaros investigations point towards CIA laundering of drug money - but we already know about Iran Contra, it was known in the early 90s, and the world greeted it with a shrug. It’s a big leap from there to the realms of literal ‘shadow government’ type conspiracy.

So why did guys like Micheal Rioscutto or Booth Nichols spin these stories?
Riocsutto claims he has it all worked out. In reality, he is trying to work out his own life. Yes he was involved with intelligence, these kinds of operations are compartmentalised and its likely he never understood the significance even of his own role. Now as a washed up pawn of no importance to anyone, having sold his life to the most grubby and evil enterprise and having been burned for it, his desire to understand - combined with a narcissistic refusal to realise his own insignificance - leads to him creating fantasies of being an integral part of an earth-shattering conspiracy of power.
Nichols Booth is a similar story, although probably more self-conscious. Recall the scene in the documentary where a female journalist tells of him showing the ‘true’ Zapruder film. Her interpretation is that this is to ensure plausible deniability (ie her reporting of such an obvious fake would discredit anything else he said in meeting with her). My interpretation is it was rather the actions of a narcissistic conman trying to weed out a sucker. Is she prepared to go along for the ride with him, or does she have the critical thinking skills that will ultimately lead to her doubting him (and thus crippling his self importance) - if it’s the latter, best not to waste time in the first place. So show her something absurd straight away.

I dont know if Danny was murdered or not, but regardless I think his life was effectively stolen by these creeps, and it’s a dead end as far as conspiracies go.

What do you think? Apologies if it’s been discussed here already

Edit: none of this is to suggest that the idea of an old boys intelligence network involved in all sorts of heinous shit isn’t plausible in theory, just that Cassalaro’s sources were the worst possible combination of dangerous and useless
