It’s a word I made up in High School (mid 90s) for a D&D character. It’s based on the Latin word for truth - veritas - but with tweaks it sound “cool” and like an actual name. When my family finally got internet, it also became my go-to username/identity for all things digital.

Nah. Thanks for trying to help, but personally, I don’t want to have anything to do with Reddit. I won’t even follow Reddit links on Google.

The only way I interacted with Reddit was Apollo. And that’s gone. So Reddit is dead is dead to me.

“Politics” as a categorization is - like art - subjective and open to interpretation. It’s a rule that can result only in abuse.

I was going to wait until the 29th to erase my content and delete my account, just in case the board woke up from their torpor, decided to stop the hemorrhaging and remove Spez… but now that Reddit is violating their own TOS commitments, and I just got my personal data download request filled… I guess I’m starting now.
