I think you mean "amenities" rather than "enmities."

If you RTFA he's been selling shares steadily over the last year. This is not exactly a sudden dump.

He has Way of Kings on there as a separate listing, so he's not ignoring the rest of the cosmere

Granted, it's generally a weak list. Night Angel was hot garbage, and eclipsed by Weeks own later series lightbringer even in spite of it's terrible last portion.

Absolutely not. HOA's as they currently exist are an abomination and should be outlawed. The idea of a group of busybodies in your neighborhood telling you what you can do with your property is abhorrent.

HOA's should exist purely as a way to manage SHARED spaces and facilities. If your neighborhood has a communal pool, or small park, great! HOA to take a small fee to manage and maintain these for the betterment of the community.

HOA to tell you what color you can paint your house, or if you can build a treehouse for your kid? Go fuck yourself! Repeatedly! With a rusty nail! When you pay my mortgage you can tell me what happens on the property.

The term you are looking for with the "death punch" is Commotio Cordis.

Also, to be more technically accurate, defibrillators are intended to restart a stopped heart, but only some kinds of stops. What people traditionally think of is Asystole ("flatline"), which is complete lack of electrical activity in the heart. Shock won't do diddly here, they ded.

Ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation however have essentially stopped the muscular/mechanical pumping of the heart, because of disjointed electrical activity. This activity is what the defibrillator is intended to reset.

There's a 4th type called Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA) where the electrical function is relatively normal, but something external is preventing pumping. Defib won't help here either, since the electrical portion is working fine.
