They believe if you do not earn money or earn insignificant amount then you do not deserve to vote or have a say in politics. You can estimate their thoughts and actions based on this simple starting point.

I added clearly as a joke :)

It's clearly an animated mode of a eigen value analysis. Therefore it's "displacements" that a structure experience when subject to a vibration at it's natural frequency. However the actual maginitude of these displacements have no meaning it is only to represent type of deformation shape one would see. If it were stress or strain you would see colors close to the base (support) of the beam.

The thing is that these populist politicians are do not have most of the views they are communicating. Many of them might even have very liberal and modern world views. However, the main goal for them is to gain as much power for themselves and their cronies. To achieve that they simply say what their supporters want to hear. The statements of populist are not the statements they believe in, they are the direct reflection of their supporters beliefs.

Interesting! Back then I had a playstation and a pc. Never have i ever had a patch for any of the games i owned. The magazine mostly had demo versions of games, freeware or sometimes even a full version of a game. However never seen a path! Perhaps i was an ignorant kid not aware of such features.

No patches in those days. Back then when you buy a game it's in it's final form.

In terms of privacy reddit has it better(still bad but better than Lemmy) because your content is locked behind a paywall only few companies can access. On the other hand, any one can train their AI on Lemmy posts and access all history of all users freely. The difference is that on lemmy only the companies that collect your data profit, while on reddit also the owners of the platform (reddit itself) profit.

If you do not work with dynamics, for statics there are still a lot of encounters with deferential equations. Euler-Bernoulli Beam theory or plate and shell theories can be used for times when you want to solve more complex problems for which predefined equations do not exist and you do not have access to expensive fea software.

Pretty much anything dynamics related. Starting basic displacements, velocity, acceleration integration for simple dynamic systems to more complicated equations for wind and spinning rotor interaction induced vibrations in wind turbines.

The my mentioned "all of it" includes excel :) but nowadays we a bit by bit transition to python

You can always try to pivot from project management to actual engineering. I am load engineer for wind turbines and everything is time dependant and dynamic. For past 10years i use every bit of math I learned is school and uni.

I guess depends on engineer
