I may be daft but am I missing a joke? Is it a "this is how he sees himself" kind of thing?
As a non American it is always wild to hear such strangely internatilised concepts of how people see the world. This guy received emails saying it was a “liberal conspiracy theory on the weather”, calling climate change a “Biden hoax”. Does someone like that have no concept that this is an issue for the rest of us outside the USA? (Aka the majority of the world). And that it existed for prior administrations too!
While that's true I think it's about why it has been made a political issue. If you can make out that it's just a left v right opinion, it steers the conversation away from the damage that is being done and those that are benefiting from it. It's great misdirection, because it means that the common person is doing the arguing on behalf of the corporations doing the polluting.
To be fair, if you're a St. Kilda fan it's a familiar feeling
Brisbane remembered how to play footy in Melbourne but forgot that a game still goes for 4 quarters. As a neutral fan it was great to watch that last 5 minutes

I feel for Dew here and I hope he picks up another coaching role down the track, if that's what he wants to do. From the club perspective it just seems like someone else is needed to take them to the next level. The list is good enough and they show glimpses. But they just can't put it together when it counts.
I love that this is the game you've commented on. True stuff though; it was a horrible display. BUT you can chalk it up to the team coming off the bye losing. It has happened soooo much this year. Which begs the question does Hawthorne beat Carlton today, given Carlton are coming off the bye?
