Kangaroo Jack (2003) for me. It's not objectively good but I found it silly and fun, and it's one of my dad's favorite movies. Never really understood why it's so panned (9% critic and 29% audience on Rotten Tomatoes)

Ah, I missed it again! And just by a few hours. Is there some kind of mailing list or something to sign up for to find out when this happens? Since I gave up Reddit and YouTube I am way out of the loop on these things. Would have picked up several titles too, since it's been a couple years...

Hoping to grab Stagecoach, The Rules of the Game, and Wall-E. There's a good chance I'll also pick up a Hitchcock or Kurosawa film and a documentary as well, pending what my local B&N has in stock.

This year's 50% off B&N Summer sale runs through July 28.

I missed Criterion's flash sale earlier this year so I'll probably stock up on this one sometime next week.

This is a shame, but it's understandable. Just as long as they don't cut back on what they carry online. They have a fantastic online selection which the stores never really matched. Some of their sales made it possible to grab Criterion blu rays for cheaper than the 50% off sales at B&N.

I missed the kickoff of the Independence Bowl and am bummed I missed Cal scoring. Hopefully there's lots of points and the Red Raiders lose (I probably won't be staying up for the end of this one)
