I've been doing my part and posting content I'm interested in. I hope more people do and that this site picks up.

Well, that's terrible.

It's great that you can edit titles here.

It's peek, not peak.

Hi there - I joined Lemmy a few days ago and subscribed to a bunch of communities. A large number of them are still stuck on "Subscription Pending". Why is this? Is there any way I can get my subscriptions to go from pending to active? Thanks!

Edit: 2023-06-30: I'm still seeing this problem. :/

I call bullshit. I just checked, and r/tumblr is still private, and I'm willing to bet that the huge modlist for r/AdviceAnimals indicates that this list of mods is the list of mods before the blackout. What's more, r/AdviceAnimals is hardly a sub critical enough to force open.

I can't handle discord. It's far too chatty for me.

Hi all,

After a few years of strongly suspecting I have Autism, I received my official diagnosis yesterday! It's nice to be validated. \o/

This is happening for me, except it's old posts that are popping up at the top of the feed, some weeks old. It's very annoying, and makes it difficult to catchup.

Hi all,

I made a community for players of the Sims. I'd love it if any Simmers on this platform would join!

It's not odd to ask at all! I am late-diagnosed with ADHD and ASD, and yes, my symptoms did get worse with menopause. It was actually the worsening of my symptoms that led me to seek diagnosis.

I related to this article a little too much. I, too, began to collapse under stress in my mid-40s.

I'm going to miss my local subreddits, like r/toronto and r/askTO. They have (had?) a very active and interesting userbase. I'm going to miss the subreddits for the games I play, like The Sims and Civ. I'm going to miss the subreddits for the TV shows I follow. I'm going to miss the lady-focused subreddits, the cute animals subreddits, the mental health subreddits (which have gotten me through so much), the science subreddits, and the news subreddits. I'm a member of so many communities there that I love. I'm going to miss them all.
