Probably need to uninstall the xone driver you already installed from that link. Then open the welcome screen again (super key + type welcome, should be there) and there's an option to install the xone and xpadneo drivers already setup for nobara on one of the tabs there.

Thanks for the heads up! I was going to try and find a download for it but I already have kanopy through the library

Since you already have a pixel you should seriously look at grapheneOS.

Ya same here with librewolf, ublock origin, and a VPN. Decent number of sites block and want me to turn off ad block and/or VPN.

I have a simple policy now: they stay on.

I'll just go somewhere else that doesn't want to track people that badly

Seems like an honest recommendation to me. You fit the apple use case pretty well, so if it works for you, great. I'd argue a stock pixel using stock android would be comparable in terms of not needing to mess with stuff since its a very curated experience, since google then controls the hardware and software, like apple.

The trade off is you're giving google (or apple) 100% access and control to everything you do on your phone.

With a fairphone or any other android with (e, grapheneOS, calyxOS, lineage, etc) you WILL need to change some settings, maybe play around with it a bit to get it working how you want, but you are the one in control. Its really not that difficult to develop the small amount of technological knowledge needed given the amount of help available online and I'd say its a necessary life skill these days just like learning to use a computer became a necessary life skill.

This is built-in to firefox rightclick menu when copying the URL, no extension needed. Less extensions means less fingerprint

Sorry for the late reply. Used can be a great option if you find stuff in good shape. Ya, for your use where you're finding it sweaty doing an activity like biking or hiking where you will generate heat, I cant recommend the 2.5 layer/3 layer fabrics enough from whatever proper sailing or outdoor company you like. There's always a trade off in moisture resistance vs breathability and when you are generating heat you need to be further towards the breathability side of the scale which is where these fabrics shine. Will they last as long as a heavy non-breathable jacket with 100%PVC bonded to 400g nylon? No. But as you've discovered having a jacket that lasts a long time doesn't do you much good if you end up soaked from sweating in it all the time.

Prusaslicer has some pretty good stl manipulation tools built-in these days. You can merge, split, add common shapes, subtract shapes, etc.

From the outside looking in, it seems like you should be able to do everything you want right in the slicer.

I've found this to be preferable for working with existing stl's (not as useful for editing) if you dont have the actual step files or 3mf files available.

Another good piece by the EFF. Its an important message to write about to your gov't representatives if it resonates with what you feel is the way forward with regards to the misguided "internet safety" laws so many countries are trying to pass right now

When I still had Netflix I was only able to get 720p streams on lineageOS because of netflix's DRM checks (same with on a web browser)... does your method allow 1080p or even 4k streams or is it still the same deal?

Not OP but look for games that say remote play together on Steam. As long as you own the game you can invite your steam friends to play with you and they join your host game without needing to purchase. An example I'm familiar with that works good is human fall flat.

Edit: start the game, open friends menu, open chat with friend, invite to play together or whatever it says on the banner
