I think I saw a similar bird not long ago. It was pecking at a dead blackberry vine, then seemed to pull something away from the vine before moving on.

I wish I had got a picture or two while it was pecking, but afterwards was all I got. I was too busy watching the tiny bird, literally right beside my car, which I had parked against the bushes.

A picture of a small bird, possibly a woodpecker, perched on a branch, partially obscured by leaves above and below. The bird has its back turned to the camera.

I'm glad I park in an underground parking lot. I don't have to worry about the temperature being too cold to charge my car. Well, until it gets really, REALLY cold.

It's always 10°C difference in the underground lot. If it's -5°C outside, it's +5°C in the underground lot. If it's +30°C outside, it's +20°C in the underground lot.

Also, I don't have a Tesla death machine.
