Shit man, BaconReader was the first Reddit app I downloaded. I eventually settled on RiF but this is just sad.

Fuck spez.

On a whim I decided to give the official app a try because a lot of people will be forced to use it, if they decide to stay on Reddit.

Holy hell, it's just slow. Can't scroll through a subreddit without annoying hitches and stutters. Comments aren't any better also.

On the other hand, Sync is just fucking gorgeous and runs immensely better than the encumbered official app.

How can apps made by small teams or even a single person be better optimized than one supposedly made by a larger team with a larger development budget?

I hope The Verge keeps tearing them a new one.

Can't believe the sycophants at Reddit thinking the issue with assistive apps is a done deal. Can't believe they fell or fit hook, line and sinker.

Lots of alt-righters see Russia as the last bastion of western civilization.

I just use a rice cooker.

I tend to buy jasmine rice and I use a 1:1 rice to water ratio.

RiF for 10 years.

Not surprised if spez will try to sell Reddit to Elon at one point.

I thought Spez has some sketchy "prepper" beliefs? I'm not surprised tbh.

I really appreciate The Verge's coverage on this. I guess someone there really have an axe to grind on Spez or Reddit lol.

I actually comment a lot, at least one a day. Presumably these are lurkers who think they are owed content.

Surprisingly I don't miss it. I have Discord and Kbin. I'll probably cease browsing Reddit on mobile once RiF dies.

They can't admit they're addicted. I was a daily Reddit user. Stopped going there once the blackout hits. And now, the subs I care about are still private. Good.

And somehow, I turned out fine.

Odd name aside, it's a great resource for SD models.
