Oh hey sorry the delay I am still working on getting notifications.

So smoke alarms are designed to lasts up to 10 years and unless your device is AC with Battery Backup, any photoelectric smoke alarms are efficient. I would strongly recommend the new models a bit more expensive but has a built-in Lithium battery that lasts 10 years (so no more battery to replace) and avoid Kidde as they have too many recalls in the past

 
 

We offer support to everyone including end user having issue with their Smoke Alarm to discussion over building cods and fire code. We welcome everyone in the industry (electrician, technicians, fitter, engineers, consultants, etc) as well as indirectly related to (end user, building manager, maintenance crew, etc)
