I can confidently say that 90% of the people where I live have no idea who Oprah is. She's not famous outside of the US, because, contrarly to singers, actors, sport stars... she doesn't export anything.

Lot of social workers or mental health workers are using their own experiences to improve the support provided to their beneficiaries. Also, if you undergo training in the field, you will obtain tools that can help you better manage your own experiences. And finally, it's important to know that you're not "helping" anyone; they do it themselves. You only provide them with the tools or a perspective that might motivate them to take action.

Music is just becoming lazier. We got from needing 70 instruments and an incredible opera singer to 6 instruments and a talented jazz singer to 4 instruments and a good singer to 0 instruments a bad singer but a lot of vocoder. I didn't said it was bad, just lazy.
