The stars and planets affect the lives of astronomers every day though.

The trick is to read something that's fictional and less dry. Fantasy would be an excellent choice. Sci Fi if you still enjoy things slightly more grounded in reality.

I think we did.

I tried Cane's a few years back when it was just starting to open up in SoCal and I was underwhelmed. The fries were soggy, the chicken was okay and the bread was alright. I just couldn't understand why there was a massive drive through line that rivals In n Out when there were so many better independent fried chicken restaurants around (Dave's Hot Chicken, Howlin' Ray's, Jaxon's Chicken, etc.).

That's why they look like zeroes to reflect this fact.

No but it can and should be legislated for lower prices.

The harder drugs only exist in an unregulated black market where criminals thrive. Legalize all drugs and let pharma companies make them to ensure purity and standardized doses. Sell them at a cheap price and watch the drug cartels crumble away as their blood money dries up.

I have a lot of fond memories with Jump Ultimate Stars in high school. I had a friend who was insanely good at it and could basically keep me in a combo loop throughout the match. The online gameplay was great for the DS back in the day with hardly any hiccups in connectivity. They really need to do a proper sequel to the game.

Final Fantasy VIII, Dishonored, and Xenogears. They all tend to stick in the back of my head long after playing them. Special mentions are Final Fantasy VI, FTL, and Bastion.

Take the route California is taking and educate the kids about worker's rights. Teach them it's not okay to be exploited at the work place and encourage them to tell their parents about it. Civics classes should also be taught to learn how the government works and what people's rights are under the Constitution. Encourage people to unionize now that they know how the system works.

Once the basics have been taught, elect people who care about government reform for social policies by paying for them with higher corporate and personal wealth taxes. Reform the tax system the wealthy have been using to hide their money. All their money is tied up in stocks and they're living off of multimillion dollar loans? Fuck them, tax a big percentage of the loan. All these things can be done to indirectly seize the fruits of their production at least.

They have some pretty high comment standards over at Chapo Trap House.
