Thanks, yes that would be an option.

I was wondering if you guys know a place or organization in Switzerland, who collects old it equipment like computers, laptops and monitors and donates them for a good cause? I'm working on a project where we will replace most of the devices and will have some old ones, which otherwise would go to the recycling station.

Does it have to? If they plan to regulate greenwashing, their draft will probably provide the information needed.

Should basically be possible with all of them. It could be that some ports are blocked by the provider, but this shouldn't be an issue.

I know about Swisscom, UPC (Sunrise Cable), Sunrise. As far as i know, you can do port-forwarding on all of them. But mostly it is just plain port-forwarding and not much more. Really depends on what you like to do.

Personally I don't think it is a bad thing. as long as it is oss, i think it is fine.

I suspect that there is a certain combination of mountain stone, oxygen, melted water that can contribute into the creation of radioactive gases, but this is not more than a wild guess. Maybe someone really knows something about this.

I’m guessing that too, but it would be great to know without having to call…

I understand. I guess one way would be to bring s spare battery with you. I can imagine, that a lot of restaurants and maybe gas stations would be happy to help, if you're in trouble of running out of battery power.

Also, i found this site, which seems to have some info on EV stations, were you can filter the power plug type, maybe it helps evpass.ch

Do you plan to stay at an hotel/hostel or homestay? Maybe you could ask there if it would be possible to charge your e-bike. Since i do not drive an EV, it may be possible at some EV / gas stations as well, but this is just a guess.

Probably runs on excatly such systems.

Edit: wait does this allow people to vote from home?..

Yes it does.

Yes, i think they're in need of motivated devs go bring the code up to date and advance it even further. Edit: Typo

Maybe you had on Reddit or an other platform or maybe you found something new here.

Did you find some good communities for sysadmin and/or programming?

Would you be interested in having a community here on feddit.ch to discuss some sysadmin or dev related stuff?

Some users may have some issues in sending mails through M365 Exchange and receive the error "bad sequence of commands"

It had been in the works for a while, but now it has formally been adopted. From the article:

The regulation provides that by 2027 portable batteries incorporated into appliances should be removable and replaceable by the end-user, leaving sufficient time for operators to adapt the design of their products to this requirement.

I don't really like the way youtube has turned into a moneymaking cashcow with lots of ads.
