But how do you reliably find large active communities? I’m still new around here! Like if I’m into movie discussions, how do I know if I picked one that has like 5 subs on some obscure small instance vs one with a big subscriber base.

That makes it tough to find the biggest communities. I wonder if they(Lemmy) are working on this.

The first one is really fun! I haven’t checked out the second one yet.

I’m spending the time, accidentally absentmindedly clicking on Apollo, seeing the protest posts and then force closing the app. Haha
