People have a hard time with nuance.

I like your idea

The problem is getting enough people actually on board. You run the risk of introducing a spoiler. Unfortunately, this change needs to happen bottom up

Who are your trusted sources? And why?

There's always a bit of "what are they not saying" when following news outlets. So I'm just curious what your perspective is.

Right. Not without truly shifting a substantial amount of people. Maybe there's a way to start shifting the republican base and get them to wake up and change how they vote. Maybe there just needs to be a huge education campaign.

There's so much that can be done that is difficult and might ultimately have little to no impact, but if no one does nothing, then nothing happens.

We need to start pushing other parties. This doesn't change for as long as we keep dems and repubs.

However, I'm voting blue for prez and over any repub for the foreseeable future.

(38 mill/3.1bil)*100=1.2258 roughly

Is France OK?

I thought I saw something about that but didn't remember where or look further into it. I just didn't want to register as either of the big 2. How do we link up independent voters to a new party? We don't have to play democrat/republican in the long game if we can get enough people on board to shift the board.

I recognize this will take time and considerable effort, but I think a new party with a clean history would do this country good. Who is the outside team that's got some momentum that we can build on? (albeit not for this prez cycle, sadly)

And finding quality ones that will last a long time is more difficult than you might think.

Many of them are made cheaply.
