What "freedoms" would they be giving up, exactly? The freedom to become a school shooter?

Sounds good overall, but I hope that frequently dropping small updates doesn't discourage them from also working on bigger features. Stuff like the world generation overhaul from the Caves & Cliffs update.

I do also find it confusing that they are bringing a native PS5 version but absolutely no word on an Xbox Series version? This is a Microsoft published game, and they don't have a version for their four year old flagship console lol.

Not that it matters to me, I'm a Java edition player now and forever, but I do still find it strange.

Modding a modding tool so you can mod more mods. Jokes aside this is really cool. I know Divinity OS2 had similar tools, but given how much more popular BG3 is there will likely be more substatial mods made for it.

HDR and G-Sync on multi-monitor setups are two big things holding me back. And also yeah I like to play CoD and CS2 FaceIT lol.

There will be two $10 Battle Passes per season, and they’ll only be purchasable with real money instead of earnable in-game currency

I have to go with Chicory: A Colourful Tale. It starts of kind of slow, but the writing and character interactions sucked me in with heavy themes of self doubt and searching for a place in society, which are very well implemented in my opinion.

There are many games that are about overcoming depression as an overall theme, but it's usually represented in a very metaphorical way and in doing so they kind of lose impactfulness, at least for me. Not here, Chicory straight up has depression, and you're trying to help her out.

The game also has pleasant art and music, and it cleverly pokes at you to be creative at various points. It actually got me to buy a cheap drawing tablet and start playing around with art haha.

Overall just a really well made game that resonated with me on a level that no other game has.

The X3D Chips have been a slam dunk win for AMD, so much so that I have no plans to upgrade from my 5800X3D any time soon. That being said, I am interested in seeing just how far they can ride that wave.

I bought FH4 since they announced it'll be delisted by the end of the year. I've previously played it a lot via gamepass, but despite the fact that it doesn't have Cross-Progression with the Steam version I still bought it on Steam so I could play it on Steam deck. Medium settings run at 60fps!

Other than that my backlog is big enough that I will abstain from the sale. Recently finished The Werecleaner (short and funny free game) and Black Mesa. Now playing CrossCode, FEZ and Nightmare Kart.

I bought it when it released and loved it, very cleverly designed and works perfectly on Steam Deck. Also just for fun, try swiping across the touchscreen...
