I also read one of the spin-off books and thought it was pretty good. No idea why the movie was so bad.

Veronica Mars. Incredible first season followed by 2 lesser but still good seasons. They made an incredible kickstarter video for a revival movie that I believe was the biggest kickstarter ever at the time. But the movie was really bad. There was another Hulu season after that I can barely remember watching except for the awful ending.

Some things should just stay dead.

Read the original article to get the basics of the idea. But I also recommend all of his books.

I liked season 2. If anything, they lean more into the cinematography.

Wow, never heard of cinemageddon but it sounds right up my alley. I host a weekly ‘bad’ movie watch party and am always looking for more sources.

I have fios and a media server nas. I have good upload ratio with 3 other private trackers if anyone would be kind enough to invite me I will seed.

I’m a big fan of Deathstalker 2. Monique Gabrielle’s line delivery and eyebrows are top tier b movie. You can’t teach that.

Or you get a set top box and don’t worry about the trash software that comes with the tv.

I really like my newish sony tv that has a basic mode. Disables all the smart BS so it functions just as a screen. I use an Apple TV or ps5 for all content.

Same here. I remember watching What the Bleep do we Know in high school. As someone who basically watched The Matrix on a loop, I would have been a likely target for right wing grifters. Luckily the Bush years thoroughly pushed me very far away from any right leaning ideology. I probably have the daily show to thank for that.

Sounds like a great start.

Early tip about chase cards, you can fund bank accounts with them. Often there will be an associated bank account bonus too. I love closing out a chase card completely with couch MS.

Interesting. Detected the same way, audio scan? Maybe I need to finally try it out.
