Several years ago I got a used 2008 Honda VTX 1300 and wanted better saddlebags. I found Viking and have been very happy with them. http://www.vikingbags.com/

I've also heard Saddleman is a very good seat, but I've been happy enough with stock I haven't needed to change them.

I fairly easily get through a day on a full battery. However, I like to keep my phone between 40% and 80% so I tend to give it one boost at some point in the day.
