Hmmmm. A friend's dog has bad breath....

Not necessarily frugal advice, but if somebody is a bit of an expert or even hobbyist in something and you are not, don't buy them something in that area unless it's something specific they have told you they like or that they want.
Eg, if they like chocolate, don't just go buy Cadbury. No offence to Cadbury and Cadbury lovers, it's just an example that some people might love Cadbury and eat nothing else, and others might hate it. You might go out and spend $X on a fancy brand, when that's one that they hate, and actually prefer a cheaper one.
Sure it's the thought that counts. But there's levels of thought, and shallow thought can be borderline offensive.
Eg, I'd way prefer some of the fantastic, unique and personal ideas here than get an expensive gift of a bottle of X, that I've probably already tried, and have settled on what I like.
TBH, LTE certification always seemed like a way to force carrier locked phones to me.
Which makes it massively more difficult to switch.
IE vendor lock in.
But the telcos give big donations!
QA Terrorist?

"You know enough to be dangerous"
It can be used as either an insult or a compliment.
Nobody ever gives the cow any credit....
I misread you as saying "Thanks late stage filesystem." 🤣
Appreciate the archive.is link
Almost 40 per cent of Sky’s digital audience is based in the US, compared with 26 per cent in Australia, this masthead reported last year. It finds most of its reach on digital platforms, in particular YouTube, where it has nearly 5 million subscribers.
So, the media conglomerate that owns the majority of Australian media, and is owned by a non Australian, is mainly watched by a non Australian audience.
It boggles the mind how this is allowed.
Sydneysider visited SM marketplace for some discount meat. Prices on the grass fed meat specials were good, though it seemed to me they included the weight of the tray in the weight. Quality looked OK, but I have to wait till I've eaten some. The beef fillet looked very nice, and looking forward to giving that a go 🤤
Check their Facebook page for latest specials. They will put up specials that only run for a day or two there.
With some other purchases from supermarkets, it averages to about $3/meal (meat only).
And that doesn't include any canned fish which is where the real protein/$ is. I don't eat tuna too much because of heavy metals. And for sustainability and omega-3 reasons my personal bang for buck is canned mackerel.
So, looks like I can make it another month without resorting to pet food.
Frugal on! 😬
idk, I just kinda hope we can get past 'coming out' and just accept people.
I know it's a very idealistic view and people face horrendous challenges, discrimination and even death.
But love will win, won't it?
