so.. android is based on linux, right?

so i can use the terminal on android, so i can run a VM with linux?

linux in linux.

i mean sure - i see the possibilities that this opens up but i also dont see why i'd want to do that - on a phone.

i am looking forward to the terminal though - sounds juicy!

people choose consoles over pcs for comfort

people choose pc for its capabilities (and for some, a different kind of comfort)

people choose vr for the experience only - and it can get old quite quickly because the market is too small - not enough 'content'

a device that constantly connects to antennas all over the place, is used to track your location.

who would have thought?

if you dont wanna get tracked - dont bring your phone.

30% seems rather high

but... when they handle payments, refunds, advertising (within their application) and game download costs (server infrastructure?), etc etc etc. it doesnt seem that crazy.

at least, for a lot of indie developers, not having to worry about those things, might easily be worth those 30%

He has 2 sons

maybe they can take over - and not fuck it up (they literally have to do nothing to achieve success!)

im not TOO surprised.

they're a non-profit company after all. they're not political activists etc.

that said, it hardly matters, because its open source.

Trump is leading the polls.

so if you currently think "im not gonna vote", then you're giving trump a head start

A majority of the non-voters are more likely to vote for the democrats. thats also why the republicans are making it as difficult as possible to vote. coz they know, the more who vote, the less likely they are at winning

I think in my country that's called "Stemmespild"

which basically means wasted-vote.

if a political party wants to enter the parliament, they gotta get at least 2% of the votes. so if you vote for one of the very unpopular parties and they only get ~1.5% you've effectively wasted your vote completely (This is how it works in my country - of course things are different in the US)
