The answers and reactions of those admins is incredibly fishy tho, and I don't really see a good ending to all that with what's been documented.

Do you take some wine with your daily propaganda meals ?

Your experience is anecdotal. There are countless documented cases of people being not only in control while lucid dreaming, but also remembering what they did. It's just that there is a limit to what you can do in dreams, because they have a purpose and trying to force too much through lucid dreaming ends up damaging your sleep, which your brain will do everything in its power to not let happen.

Not really what you asked, but preparing and improvising aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

IE, you can prep some encounters, rooms, vilains etc, but mostly on the surface, they don't have to be predetermined as, for example, goblins in a cave, or the villain can be anyone or even better, you just improvise him towards the end, for a huge plot twist in your players mind, while you just picked what happened to fit the best at the time combined with what you prepared.

Adapting/reusing on the go what you prepared/envisioned is, imo, one of the best skills a DM can have and work on. And this applies for things you prepared in a previous session but happened to not use at the time.

I hope that helps.

Some pretty sick disturbing stuff in the US.

Lucid dreaming being a thing shatter the whole premise anyway.

I didn't think I'd ever see someone depicted looking so high AND smug at the same time

What do downvotes do, exactly ?

What would be the alternative ?

I didn't do any follow up comment, and I explicitly said only he can answer that question and that there wasn't any wrong answer.

You wanna assume and draw implications from that, that's on you, I think I did my part toward clarity and his answer seems to indicate that it was enough.

Sadly, there's no easy way to do this.

Sometimes, love just isn't enough. That's all there is to it.

Although, reading your post, it seems to be mostly about sex drive (or it's the only thing you actually mentioned) so ask yourself, are you ready to lose such a beautiful relationship over "not enough sex" ?

There's no wrong answer, not trying to apply a judgement of any kind here. But only you can answer this.
