It always depends if you have proprietary hardware. I have multiple Macs at home I use as servers on Linux and the Broadcom wifi cards are a mess. But once you know what to do, it works well.

I think that’s the reason why they’re being downvoted. It’s not true anymore. It used to be an issue, sure. But the same can be said about reinstalling windows without drivers.
Im excited to get to it !! My boyfriend’s playing it but I don’t want spoilers haha
That backlog huh :) And yes, for sure I will!
I came back to Linux about a month ago. I was nervous at first that my stuff wouldn’t work, it required a bit of tweaking to get everything how I want it, but I’m happy to be here :) I use Arch btw
I grabbed the entire PIKMIN series on Switch and will start playing them this weekend. I’m very excited, I’ve never played any of them!
I’m also a part of that percentage. I tried Arch Linux for gaming and all my games worked fine on it. So I backed up my stuff and wiped my drives clean.
No trace of windows left and I do all my gaming on Arch. :)
10+ years here, not sure how long because I deleted my account.
I deleted it towards the end of June, when Christian announced Apollo was closing down, and how Spez fucked him by twisting his comments.
I was very active in *Nix subs, like Linux, Ubuntu, elementaryOS, helping users. I was also active in the macOS patching subs (mojave / Catalina / OpenCore legacy), with guides and news. So there's definitely some substance lost by me deleting all my posts / comments. Do I care? Not really.
I’m very nostalgic for the Paper Mario games’ soundtracks, especially The Thousand Year Door’s.
