Search term "mini usb2 to usbc" on amazon UK came back with a good list... brands easyult and nfhk. No clue how good they are or if they would be available in EU/CH.

Recently started rewatching an old uk series called time team. Basically loads of quick short archeological digs, though the tech is a bit dated (geophysics was just available to them for the first series). Its on channel4.com though you might need to vpn to the UK.

As a teenager, it nearly swung me to studying archeology, would definitely recommend.

Depends on the situation. I would accept conscription for myself as a measure of last resort ie. defence. I probably wouldn't be much use to them anyway so they would have to be really desperate!! I also kind of like how the Swiss military service works, everyone does it, knowing it will probably never be needed... because it teaches life skills etc.
On the other hand I don't think I could get behind the US conscription for Vietnam or Russia conscription for Ukraine.

[email protected] was created last week but not much there yet.

This is the best answer and why I was thinking it wouldn't be possible but couldn't come up with a good explanation.
Also Cunninghams law in action... post a dumb answer and someone will give the right answer. Thanks.

Not sure it would be possible but got me thinking. The brain consists of around 100 billion neurons with a charge of around 0.07 volts at rest. That is a theoretical 7 billion volts. I am not a doctor or electrician but that would have to go somewhere, presumably earth. No idea of the consequences somewhere between none and spontaneous combustion would be my guess!!

I was surprised when I looked into digital nomad visas last year, how cheap an airbnb was to book for a month out of season.

Edit, missed that they said a week or 2

Started American Gods over the weekend before I learned the 12 Monkeys series was on itv player so watching that for the second time... Futurama as well.

Had this myself recently, process explorer still works though. tskill taskmgr.exe would probably work too.

Assuming the bot is reposting content from the old site, there is no guarantee that the original reddit post was OC either. But attribution to the poster is at least appropriate and should be possible with a bot (if the creators are listening).

At the moment this is a niche community on a niche platform. And beggars can't be choosers.

Utterly awful. Text is less readable, navigation is a pain, and to cap it all, they removed the widget that was the only reason to use it.

Why oh, why oh, why bbc!!!

Career wise I find myself in a similar position. Roles in my niche skill set are largely offshore or contract positions now. I don't like the idea of management. I love doing what I do... fixing bugs, investigating complex problems, not talking to people for days!!

I have been debating trainer or tester roles. There is also Scrum master as a possibility but I think that would be too regimented for me, there doesn't seem to be much scope to adapt the scrum model for different situations - at least the way my employer does it!

Just some ideas, I don't have much good advice as I'm spinning my wheels without a clear direction at the moment.
