Some old features I would like to see in Mc today

This is a post to brainstorm some ideas about the game and what it could have been. I'll start by listing some old features that I really liked:
- As I mentioned in my previous post, isometric screenshots. They just look good.
- The old smelting system. It was only in indev version 0.31. You would smelt iron by using flint and steel to ignite a fire in which you would then drop the iron ore onto the fire, producing iron ingots. It was definitely faster and more "atmospheric" than the current way of smelting in my opinioni even though it was simpler.
- The saturation of Alpha and below, it makes the simplest places look nice.
- Indev world types.
What are your opinions and ideas?

And the worse thing is, because the internet is so centralized now (dominated by just a few companies) people have almost nowhere to go back to. The worst thing tho, is how a lot of people simply don't care. They would rather keep the very slight convenience they have over getting rid of these corrupt companies.
Basically saying that lemmy and 4chan are the rivals of popular social media sites like reddit and X in terms of their policies and philosophies. The meme likens lemmy and 4chan to Guy Fawkes and V.
It basically means that social medias like lemmy and 4chan are the antithesis of other centralized sites like reddit, X and the like.
You can get started with the mods reindev and diverge (for minecraft indev) and Not So Secret Saturday (for Alpha).
Beta mods got some major updates. The important thing is that mods for indev and alpha has also been developed.
I totally get what you mean as I use those mods too.
But there are stil some good old school modpacks for beta that you could use, like the mangopack or better than adventure.
Indev and Beta are the only old school minecraft versions I play at, due to how different and unique indev is and with beta being the most advanced (and the most moddable) while having that old minecraft feel and mechanics.
You do know what sorts of shit redditors put up with right? They will choose to "protest" like on r/place but they will probably forget about it 3 days later.
Reddit is a part of peoples lives now. Just like how people don't leave twitter, instagram, facebook and all those other sites even after all of the bad shit people like zuckerberg and elon musk did to them, they won't leave reddit.
