Sweet. It already looked like a breath of fresh air after the NSMB rehashes, but if it’s getting it’s own direct, Nintendo must have really put a lot of love into this one. Can’t wait!
Damn, Redes has such an absurd knack for hitting the ball straight at the only player that can stop him from scoring.
Whirlwind is rough without either the Bold Chieftan’s aspect or the Marshal Glyph’s secondary effect. Both is obviously preferred, but at least one is almost essential to make the build function in higher tiers. I waited to even attempt switching over to WW until I had enough paragon levels for a fully-powered Marshal Glyph, and it helped a lot.
With the relative proximity and all the small towns in between, it really does seem like we’re trending toward an eventual DFW situation. Then the question becomes whether or not we eventually see an I-10N/I-10S split like they have with I-35. We’re the largest city in the country with only one interstate, so I wouldn’t rule out the possibility if we continue to outpace national growth trends.
I agree it’s total bullshit, but there actually is a contract of carriage involved that skiplagging violates, so airlines are within their rights to cancel an itinerary if they catch such a violation. With that said, fuck BS airline policies and fares.
They were a chain of discount home goods stores. The whole chain went out of business this past year, which is a shame; my wife and I loved stopping in on occasion to pick up odds and ends for our house.
Taking over the old Tuesday Morning spot this time? I swear, they inhabit a different section of that complex every year.
The Pillars of Eternity games provide some of what you’re looking for, as they’re heavily inspired by the old Baldur’s Gate games (which were themselves built on D&D).
I switched to spin2win after level 50 and never looked back. I know it isn’t as strong has HotA builds in the long run, but it’s just so satisfying when you get your cooldowns reduced enough to tear through packs. Currently lvl 72 and having a blast slowly working my way up the nightmare dungeon ladder (most recently ran a 30).
Our offense has generally looked better of late (glad Finlay is finally starting over Rigoni), but lord help our CBs. Ring is good at cleaning up messes, but he’s not as good at marking and maintaining a flat line as we need. Cascante isn’t the best transition marker either, so we are going to be very vulnerable on crosses until we plug that hole. Here’s to hoping we pour in goals and put things out of reach early!
Head for The Continental Hotel and hope the rules hold up.
Try to catch a sunset at Oasis Texas Brewing Company (not to be confused with The Oasis, which is next door and has awful overpriced food and drinks).
Will you be around on a weekend during that timeframe? Both UT Football and Austin FC games are a lot of fun, and you can usually find cheap seats if you aren’t too picky about location.
If you’re into art, The Blanton Museum of Art is always a good stop (works doubly well if you go to a Longhorns game, as it’s situated on the edge of UT’s campus).
Make sure you try some BBQ while you’re in town, as we have some of the best brisket in the country. Franklin is the headliner, but there are lots of other options in the same tier of goodness with less of a line, so feel free to reach out if you want specific recommendations there.
