The equipment is built more enclosed, like no visible gears electronics etc. They can be brought outside for running them, but should not be kept outside permanently. After that session I had to bring them in and let them dry.

The tracks can be left outside. They are made from messing so withstand corrosion ok (but have to be cleaned after some time)

Yes, but I am not sure if lemmy allows multiple uploads. I also posted some stuff to reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/modeltrains/s/ChMSr8e4Lt

Lower two are from Kleinbahn (austrian manufacturerer) Upper one is the Saxonia set from Pico (with some missing parts sadly)

At the moment I don‘t have enough space to do a permanent G Scale layout. So I have to build and then pack away everything when I am done. But yes I plan to extend both the tracks and rolling stock in the coming years. Also can‘t wait for next spring to take everything outside for the first time (why I started G Scale, also have a H0 Layout)

Thanks, the most work was actually the tracks, after 10+ Years outside it took me 7+ hours to clean them
