Yes it is a USB desk mic. Does this also work with a TRS and not s TRRS?

Im pretty sure the iPad has audio in, but I might go with a usb adapter for lighting because of functionality as @[email protected] said

I have a (weird) question: Is it possible to connect a 3.5mm cable to a microphone‘s headphone out and the other end to a iPad‘s audio in, and record with it? I know an iPad is far from ideal, but there is no other options for me right now.

I recently discovered the Open Astro Tracker by OpenAstroTech. Does anyone have experience with it and can recommend it? I don't want to spend time and money for a product that maybe won't work, but I really like the idea of a self build tracker. I also like that it can be upgraded later by adding things like a autoguider

Because my camera is only ~1kg (2.2lbs) the small model is enough and I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. If I can be sure it will work, its fine if it takes some time to print and assemble.

Also, can someone make a rough estimation of the price? On the website it is around 250€ for a complete kit, but I have a 3d printer and don't need the autoguider right now. For me that seems a little expensive for mostly 3d printed parts.

But how do I lower the tension? I think its just the friction in the tube.

It comes with 2 spinning tubes so it does spin freely

Hi, I have printed a small holder for a Bowden tube to print from my filament dryer outside of the enclosure, but the filament coming out of the tube is tensioned and I don’t know if it will cause problems later. Is this fine to keep or how can I fix this? This i a Ender 3 V3 SE btw.

I am in germany, so opinel would definitely be an option. Thanks. I completely forgot about them.

What is your experience with cheap knives from amazon or others? There are a lot of sub $50 knives there with mostly positive reviews. Are they actually good? Or do you have better cheap options that are not sponsored by amazon? I see brands on there like Lothar or Bergkvist. They actually have decent websites on their own, so I don't know if they are actually that amazon trash or a decent budget brand.

I chose Endeavor because I like its wallpapers.

(And I am too scared of installing Arch)

Welcome to the world of 3d printing

I will be using PLA

I want to mount a printed part to a standard 2mm motor axis which doesn't have any dents or profile. Its just round. If I print at exactly 2mm, it fits for the first few times until it gets too lose and the spinning part sometimes falls off.

I am trying to send an email from an alias with simplelogin. I went to their website and clicked the contact link, but after sending the email, I looked in the headers and saw my real email with my real name. Is this on my side or can the recipient also see my real name? If so, how to turn this off?

I am using the Creality ender 3 v3 SE with eSuns PLA+ in black. The recommended printing temperature is 205-220 and I am printing at 210. The bed is set to 65°. When I print somewhat flat parts. The edges warp off the plate, while the printer is running and the plate is still hot. Until a few days ago it worked perfectly and I don't know what I am doing different.

It is always only the first few layers, and the print never moves, so that the printer would make spaghetti, its just the edges that lift of a few millimeters.

I am thinking about buying a home server for a wide range of things. I found some cheap old computers on amazon for around 80-90€. Is it worth it to upgrade them with another stick of ram or a larger SSD? 2 8gb RAM sticks are only around 15€, so that would be 100 in total. But my question is, is it worth it, or is the CPU the limiting factor. Some of them have one from the pentium series. Also, is 15€ for 2x8gb DDR4 RAM normal (not too cheap)? Maybe you have other ideas for a cheap home server. In my case I don't think a 90€ raspberry pi is worth it

Im considering buying a new phone and i don't really consider a Pixel. I really like Fairphones approach, with the self repairable stuff. Even though they don‘t have a headphone jack. But well… I can’t change it. I’ll definitely go with the adapter over wireless headphones.

But to my question: What private OSes are there? Fairphone sells FP4s with eOS, how is that? And does it work on the FP5? GrapheneOS only works on Google Pixels right?

Ive looked around a bit for cheap cameras from sony‘s alpha 7 series and found some 3‘s with the kit lens for less than 500€ or the 4 with lens for around 600€. Are they legit or are they scams/fakes/not working? Whats your advice or experience? On other platforms for used stuff they rarely go below 800 without a kit lens

Is there something similar to privacy.com in Europe so I don’t have to enter my credit card information everywhere? Or another way to buy stuff online privately on many different stores and websites?
