Vaporizing, while not orderless, has significantly less scent that disapates much faster than traditional combustion

Consumers are never powerless, if a company does something shitty you don't like with their product stop using the product. Companies are always tied to profitability, they will always try to maximize profits and milk it's users as far as they can without losing them. If consumers fought back with their dollars by not consuming, then companies would stop. If 60% of reddit stayed blackout untill the change was cancelled, spez would have to give in. That's why there is so much effort to fragment everyone, it's the only to stop the majority from realizing the power they hold.

Overtime I think we will see duplicate instances naturally disappear because one of them will become popular.

Ah yes that's right, I have to stop using instance and community interchangeably lol

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

You know that is entirely fair haha. I was thinking the same thing when I first started but I realized you can block instances as they come up and you won't see them anymore, now that I've done it awhile they rarely comeup.

I've only heard of lemmy.ml and lemmygrad having mods that are in favor of authoritarian governments. I've not seen a lot of pro authoritarian posts on lemmy.world and I pretty much exclusively stay on new.

Is lemmyverse one of the new sites for searching for instances?

Is beehaw heavily moderated or something?

It really is, there isn't as much content as reddit and that may or may not change but the lack of people acting like they are better than everyone makes it well worth it. I deleted the app and won't go back
