@[email protected] problem is, the game itself is not new. It's been around for a whole year in KR. If that's the state it's in right now, it doesn't bode well at all.

@[email protected] T&L was the most confusing game we've ever played. Some of the most complicated ability descriptions we've ever seen, chaotic combat, and all quests are fetch quests. We uninstalled before hitting the requirements to do raids, which are apparently quite fun. PvP was trash though.

@[email protected] it's unclear for now whether or not it'lll run. But if it doesn't, it'll probably be due to some bullshit anti-cheat software, or other invasive stuff that doesn't run with Linux.

@[email protected] nah, just stick to what ProtonDB says. Or, just install ProtonDB Badges from Decky Loader.
Otherwise, you'd never play Ghost of Tsushima, which runs wonderfully save for the -useless- multiplayer, which is what makes it considered unplayable on the Deck or Linux in general.

@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] that's the thing: if Microsoft abandoned the whole hardware scene and just made gamepass available on Linux (for real, not just the cloud gaming through internet explorer thing), you could make every screen in your house an Xbox. They could be printing money.
I totally expect them to do so very soon.
They already are, to some extent: if you just play game pass games and have a good connection, you don't need an Xbox, just your TV.

@EighthLayer @innkeeper @brakeoutgaming sooo... An underpowered and less versatile ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion, and the like?
Maybe.
Who'd buy it, though? If they'd just refine the Windows handheld experience like Valve did for Linux, they'd already have several portable Xboxes.
