The title feels a bit off. I doubt very many of the subreddits have actually "relocated". As the site itself states, these are just lists of alternatives that provide topics that match existing subreddits.

Most of the subreddits mentioned are still going to be active (especially in comparison to their alternatives) for the foreseeable future.

There is at least a decent advantage in the flip phones of having the screen protected when the phone isn't in use. I could see them potentially becoming more popular over time if they are improved upon and become cheaper, if only for that reason.

An attempt to change the rules/laws to target a specific individual would rightly be seen as an attack on Trump/Republicans.

lemmy.ml isn't explicitly "tankie" but the main devs are and the moderation will include not allowing posts/comments critical of China/Russia/communism/etc.

Yet, racist westerners continue to regurgitate it because it fits perfectly with their chauvinistic world view. American media doesn’t just portray eastern countries harshly, it lies shamelessly about them.

Right there. If we are going by the rule of "Being critical of a country or group of people makes you racist" then statements such as that would surely qualify.

Fighting what you perceive as racism but pushing your own racist views seems like a strange stance to take. But I would be lying if I said I was surprised.
