Yea, embargoes and sanctions would be extremely effective on Israel. The argument that "they have a trade surplus" doesn't really make sense when their exports require them to import.

Yea the neoliberal race to the bottom. Compare Kerala to Modi's state, Gujarat which is basically ancapistan. A lot of wealth but only a few have it.

they should put all the disabled ppl who are given a loan at high interest rates but are unlikely to be able to work into a CDO, bribe Moodys to rate it AAA and sell it to other able workers as a safe investment.

Clinton really did more damage honestly. Glass-Steagall, financialization of everything, cutting welfare. the most responsible for GFC.

Yep and all the Palestinian towns which were destroyed during Nakba as well.

There will be a need for a state lead housing project for all the Palestinians who were expelled.

None of this factors into the 'solution' presented by them, millions of Palestinians live in refugee camps in the neighboring countries.

There is no need to kill anyone, yes even the settlers. Some may leave because they hate living next to Arabs, others can stay where they are.

The solution they are suggesting, if Israel agrees (it won't) would mean kicking out all the Jewish settlers in the west bank.

Also making this about religion 🤦 ignoring all the Palestinian Christians who were killed or expelled.

"Dude". Gots to love it when officials and news anchors use informal language. Like the Israeli spokesperson saying "We don't have any beef with the people of Gaza."

give it to him (/s), he is the one who had his cult followers buy up the public float of 30 million shares, doubling the market cap.

Scotland should really leave the shithole that is U.K. It would be better off in every way having its own policies.

Or Israel

To mend the fiscal deficit and budgetary holes as directed by the European Union (EU), the government made cuts worth billions in public spending including social welfare and real wages. Public sector hospitals and schools have been reeling under decades-long divestment and cuts.

Earlier drafts strongly opposed any Israeli attack on Rafah, but the current draft has watered down the language and moved it to the preamble, only expressing "concern that a ground offensive into Rafah would result in further harm to civilians" instead of demanding that it be prevented.

Note that during the Security Council debate, US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield made a critical statement: If Russia puts forward a resolution that does not support the "diplomacy on the ground" — that is, the diplomatic process co-led by the US — the Council will remain deadlocked. This is a direct threat by the US to veto any resolution that doesn't endorse the US diplomatic process and the American/Israeli parameters for a ceasefire.

“super tax” of 2% on the net wealth of the 167 wealthiest families in 2022-23 would yield 0.5% of national income in revenues and create valuable fiscal space to facilitate such investments.
